Hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose is one type of assistant which mainly used in building materials industry. It also can be with a thickener, auxiliary emulsification agent, coating forming agent. HPMC with low viscosity is usually used as emulsification agent of Emulsion Dope while HPMC with high viscosity can be used as thickener, adhesive agent suspending agent.
